Dear Coach Forge,
I think that camp Pass Set Crush is very special. I admire how you are always positive. Like how in the morning when everyone is sleepy, you’re up and singing. Or how you create this special family with the counselors. I just really admire your attitude. You see our full potential. I also like how you constantly take pictures of us for our parents. Thank you for this special experience. -KM
Dear Coach Forge,
Thank you so much for having me at your camp and teaching me how to play volleyball. I have made so much improvement over this past week. My time here at camp has been so fun and I can’t wait to come back next year! Maybe I’ll eventually  see you a Plymouth State! Either way, I hope to see you again soon. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. -CM
Dear Coach Forge,
Thank you so much for taking charge of this well organized, fun and exciting camp. I just wanted to let you know that I had a really great time. Also, you make a great wake-up alarm in the early camp mornings. Hope to see you next year! -L
Dear Coach Forge,
Thank you so much for opening this camp and always making it so fun. I don’t think there’s any bad way to describe you! You’re always so positive and always find a way to make it enjoyable. You’re an amazing coach! Thanks again. -SW
Dear Coach Forge,
Thank you so much for starting the best volleyball camp ever! I had so much fun playing a ton of volleyball everyday. I loved morning singing wake-up calls and kissing the tree tradition. Thank you again for a great time. -A
Dear Coach Britt,
Thank you for everything. I came into this camp very nervous about my skills in volleyball and never scrimmaging before, but you always came onto the court with a smile on your face and an AMAZING pep talk. Thank you for showing me where to be on the court and explaining where to be. You are an amazing coach. I want to be as talented as you on the court. Thank you for being my inspiration. -KB
Dear Britt,
I'm glad you were my court coach. You taught me many things. You were really nice and made us work. You let us do many fun drills. I made many new friends on Court 2. -JC
Dear Britt,
First of all I would like to thank you so much for challenging me. Because you were hard on us and worked us hard I feel like I am a way better volleyball player than I was when I showed up. I also loved when you were not afraid to tell me when I was doing something wrong and then you would help and give awesome pointers. Your constructive criticism was seriously amazing. Please never stop coaching because I feel like I learned so much from you. -KC
Dear Coach Forge,
Thank you for such an amazing camp experience. I had so much fun and the mix of volleyball and other things was perfect. I learned so many new things from you and all the cabin counselors. The singing in the morning, pushup if you yawn and kissing trees were also funny elements. I hope to see you at camp next year.
-JK
Coach Forge,
I attended two sessions of Pass Set Crush. This year was very helpful and helped me regain my basic volleyball skills that I thought I had lost. Thanks to your amazing camp I was able to be recruited to the Exeter High school JV Volleyball team. If you and the counselors hadn't pushed me to do my best and practice with me for 6 hours a day I most likely wouldn't have been able to make the team. I give you my gratitude and I thank you for everything that you have done to improve my playing.Though this was my last year at Pass Set Crush I will cherish it and hope to see you again in the near future :)  -TB

Hi Coach,
I just wanted to say how appreciative I am that you held your camp this summer. L had her first game tonight and she has grown so much. Thank you for all you did to get your camp up and running especially during this crazy year.
It is such a valuable part of our community. L came home tired and beat at the end of the week. It was great ;)

But the best comment from her today was
"I have become a better player and it’s all because of pass, set, crush camp. I want to go back next summer. Can I go back?” I told her of course!! And her friends want to go back too! It was such a great experience for them and they all have realized how much they learned
this summer. Their first game today was very impressive. They did awesome! They won!

So I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am.

Thanks again and see you soon!
Dee
Hi Joan:

I just wanted to thank you again for taking such good care of Brenna this past week. Most overnight camps are off limits to her because of her Celiac Disease, but not only did you guys feed her safely, you spoiled her! She told me a few times on the ride home how good the food was and how the kitchen staff made special food for her at each meal. We both truly appreciate it.

Hi Joan. It was great to see you again. Nicole had a fantastic time and definitely wants to go again next year! In the short time Larry & I watched her, I could see her improvement both skill wise and in her leadership on the court. I’m so glad she’s coming into her own. Have a restful, quiet weekend! And thanks again for having such a GREAT camp!! — Jackie
Dear Joan,

I just wanted to say thank you to you and all your coaches for giving my daughter such a wonderful experience at Pass Set Crush!

On the day of arrival, I wasn't sure how well she would do considering her lack of enthusiasm and now that she's back....well I have to say I'm so please to see such a wonderful twinkle in her eye! She has not stopped talking about all the fun things she did, things that she learned, people she met and the "awesome" food she ate!!

If you ever decide to up the age limit please let us know. Cheyanne would LOVE to be a return camper.

Keep up the great job and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Bobbi-Jo
Hello Joan

My daughter went to your camp this past summer and it was an incredible experience and she has developed not only as a solid player but genuine love of the game. She also made great friends too.

Thank you kindly.
Dana
My daughter Rhiannon attended the first session of pass-set-crush... she had a great time and already wants to go next year... — Nancy

Former Camper Comments

I attended camp Pass Set Crush for two years, starting in 2001, all the way from Montreal, Canada. It was such a great way to meet new friends and this is where my love for volleyball started. The skills I learned from that first year at camp helped me make it on my high school volleyball team the following year. Eventually I became a co-captain and MVP on my team. I went on to play volleyball at McGill University as well as play for the Quebec provincial team for several years. I became the McGill team MVP, and I made it on the First All-Canadian team when we went to Nationals during my senior year. I will now be spending a year training as a carded athlete at the Canadian Full-time Training Center in Winnipeg with the Team Canada coach in the hopes of making it on the Canadian National Team in the future.

Cheers,

Kaiva Mateus
